How long does do you take to back off the enricher completely

I don't use the enricher at all, uaually three twist of the throttle and then hit the start button, mine fires right up. Then just keep it idled up for a couple of minutes.
..

I start mine the exact same way.

It is an enrichener not a choke. When used, you pull it up after the start button is pushed. This allows a little more gas through the carb to assist with starting. Some prefer to twist the throttle a couple times. On cold starts, I twist the throttle once, and use the enrichener. As soon as the bike starts, it needs to be pushed back down all the way. Leaving it up does nothing but foul the spark plugs. If your bike won't stay running after 30 seconds of fast idle with the throttle, your carb is not adjusted correctly, or you have the wrong jets in it.
I was instructed by the dealer back in 05’ to give 2 pulls on the Throttle, enrichener up until the RPM climbs to and levels off at 2,500. I have been doing this for 25K miles and it has always served me well. I was told, low RPM lugging is destructive to the motor especially when cold. My enrichener is not adjustable. It’s ether up or down. It almost sounds like he is adjusting the idle adjustment screw.

dunno the time , just use it until the engine tells me to quit.
your results may vary with the temperature.
Truth. That’s what I do. The colder, the longer. I think that’s the only thing that applies to that statement. Lol! Just saying.

I totally concur with the low-rpm lugging, or being destructive.... it may "sound cool" to some, but it's bad JuJu on a v-twin ring set.
Good tip there.

What's the coldest you've ever started it in? (given location=FL)
Temps here dip into the low-40's and mid-30's, especially late night/early morning during Bike Week, even if the it reaches the hi-60's or low 70's during the day. Ive had more than one cold ride home at 4 am...lol

In those temps I'm fine, 30 degrees and below is where the starting difficulties begin

Take it for what it's worth is my approach to said engine... any engine:
Sven squidly here has bike in gear before fire.
Sven is not about to sit for 6 minutes times how many hours am I not moving?
Squidly has begun to move with clutch lever released before the starter motor gear stops spinning.
Squid moves to second gear to lower the rpm's from heating the pistons too fast before the rest of the barrels expand.
Squidly then finds if that's enough choke and shuts it off, however;
Sven is going to know if it needs more choke and that means; if it falls on its face- quick is the draw back on to choke.
Sven is slowass hell to warm up said parts as if idling away from home before he ups the speed.

Conclusion
Uncle Sven times traffic lights if not watches the light change, kills the engine and coasts to a stop. How many hours is freshly keeping the compression from slowly wearing out? Surly not sitting there for [minutes adds to hours] of wear standing still? Not eye said the sore.
