I believe this is a check engine light, it's red left middle of speedometer. Bike seems to run fine just not sure why it came on, any thoughts. Just had one all of my injectors and fuel system clean bike wouldn't start.

You will need to get S&S Protune set up on a laptop to read the code to see what the fault is.

They use P-codes according the the pdf manual.

"Just had one of my injectors cleaned"
'Just had all of my injectors....' which is it?

Let's assume one injector. She's cleaner than the one you didn't clean. This is just a guess now. Say this was the only thing you touched on the bike, I'll take a guess and base this on a learn process. According to the protune II manual, "Each cylinder (Front and Rear) has its own separate Closed-Loop Fuel Control system so the ECM can learn the optimal fuel values for each cylinder independently of the other."

Let's assume both were cleaned. That 02 sniff is not smelling the 'key-off-saved-values' its sniffing. Thus the spit code to relearn. Possible, just possible, but it may take so many keyfobs to turn the light off. I hacked my latest bike and it took about 20 or so fobs before the [02] check engine light code turned off.

Based on this cleaning event, the 02 does not recognize the old map learn and those 'last known number(s)' of the dirty injector. I could be wrong. Only your P-number knows for sure. Make sense injector wise?

I had my whole system cleaned, not sure why I came out one injector instead of both.

We are dead in the water without the P number. I'll just rattle off what little I know about the black box acting up when it spits out a code.
For example, say you left the key on and pulled the injector connector off. E acts like AC, meaning, the box's back and forth pings. It monitors the sensors thousands of DTTs per second. That means 'fail-safe' is ready to act in a 'redundant' sort of 'backup' mode.

What spits a code:
1. Wire out of connector.
2. Connectors not connected.
3. Short to ground/signal out of range.

1. We know there is no wire out of the connector.
2. We could have removed the injectors for cleaning, then serviced the bike needing key on. There is your 'connector not connected' code.
3. We know it is not a short to ground because no fuses are blown. However, a signal out of range might spit the code.

2. You come back with a 'no key on' scenario before/during/after, yada-yada, then 2 is now eliminated.
3. Where 3 more narrows down the code set = Signal out of range.

Working the engineering backasswords; still won't get the wording I need from the black box manu. That's more proprietary info I'd like to get my grubs on. Only thing they are letting go of is the P codes the car industry uses. Something like a bent out paper clip touching 2 wires together trips the P code to popup. Same kind of under dash OBD connector you fork 2 wires with, then watch the dash blink the first number, then blinks off the remaining number(s).

Ball is back in your court.

Have you checked your tappet screen? That can trigger the oil pressure lite. Is it the same red light that is on when you turn on the bike before you start it?

That is the oil pressure light. Clean your tappet screen. If it is clean when you pull it you need to look elsewhere. How hot is it where you are? If very hot the oil might be thinning out and that will also trigger the oil pressure light. What oil are you running? 20/50 full synth I hope.

If it comes on when idleing, loosen the oil tank cap. If it goes out don’t worry about it

I'm in the Mooresville North Carolina area so yes it has been very hot here and very muggy and lot of afternoon rain

I have not checked that yet can I just unscrew it with the engine full of oil or do I have to drain a little bit

Just pull it. You will need a pair of needle nose pliers or tweezers to get it out. Pay attention to how it comes out. The opening of the screen goes to the bottom with the screen fitting up into the spring. You should be doing this every oil change.

Well I thought it was a little low on oil and it was, so I put about a quart or a little less than a quart, road for about half hour and the light went off. Thought that was the problem but it came back on, I was out in the country about an hour and a half or so away from the house so I took it carefully home. Next morning went out there try to figure it out in the bike One start, hazards kept blinking. Notice the battery terminals were very loose so I tighten them up and I keep trying to reset the ECU but the bike does not start. I believe it's a ground problem will try to work on it tomorrow
What was the result ? Was the tappet screen dirty? Has the problem been fixed?
