The nylon rod goes in a hole on the bottom of bucket. The outer trim ring is grooved to accept the rod. Beauty of it is, you can pull it apart on the side of the road if needed. Super simple.
I love the way my Adjure comes apart if needed with the nylon rod. It's the best for having to change the bulb or taking it apart.

My Adjure is bright....maybe not as bright as the newer ones with LEDs but people did believe it was LED way I first installed it many years ago....at least 7 years ago.

Mine started to bubble and peel at the base where the mount attaches so I stripped it down and painted it to match the bike.

Mike, I can get you a used for probably nothing. My buddy has several just laying in a box in his shop so let me know if you want one of them and I will see what kind of condition they are in.

If he has multiple let me know also, my chrome is bubbling a little and my ring has a small hole in it from when I changed my bulb and drilled a small hole in it.

I know he has a few but they are all in a box together so they would probably need to be chromed or painted to match your bike.
