Your painter will have to make a color panel to determine how many coats to use to correctly match the color. If you have to explain this to the painter, find someone else. My guy laughed at me for being mystified by the ‘recipe’. Haha

I have a copy of the only known paint codes for these bikes. It only shows the base colors in general. There is no indication of what year, or bike, the color was used. Most of the earlier years, the paint was PPG paint, before they started using HOC. HOC candy paints are just that color. Meaning you don't need a paint code for the candy. What changes the color of the candy is the base color under it.So how does this work exactly, you have to use the VIN number off your bike to find out the paint code for your bike?
What if like in my case you also have ghost flames?
How do you do that exactly, just take a cell phone pic and send it into House Of Kolor?
