Wasn't that the year BDM started switching their electronics from Harley to their own and things were problematic?

No.. it was the first year of the ehc and their controls is all.. but they have upgrades for all that and it' the same from 04 to current. 04 had the Harley primary though.. a better primary really.. ours are just unique to our bikes.

Depends on what route u go. But most are plug and play and around 6 to 800

The EHC has been upgraded in this bike and I couldn't resist so I bought it.

I love my 04 Ridgeback. Love the wider harley primary. I love the 250 rear tire. It’s wide but not so wide it makes it handle awful. I live in curvy terrain so handling is a must unless you want to be left behind by whoever you’re riding with lol.

Man I am so glad you got yourself a bike, now you will be able to enjoy what everyone has been talking about with a Big Dog. I mean that in a good way, they are just great to be on, and leaves other bikes to bow in their presents.

I thought the wider the tire the better the handling and stability (more contact surface), no?

Don't worry about the tire as much much as the extra length. Hust takes a little bit of getting use to.enjoy the weekend
