'09 Coyote for $10.5 7k miles, what could possibly go wrong?

By '09 my understanding is that all the BDM electronics were rock solid so no need to upgrade to Wiresplus.
Not my color and out of my price range, especially given that I'll need to put in another $1k for an oil cooler but what a deal.
I may take a splash anyway.
Only thing I found to be curious is that the online specs state a 250 rear tire. I thought all BDMs starting in '05 had the 300 rear tire?

Coyote was a cheaper version, 250 tire is correct and the electronics are the same as the earlier ones.

Are you sure you need the oil cooler?

I'm pretty sure it would be the same as 05 and up, I think in 09 the connectors changed but still the same EHC

Yes. I plan on using this for commuting just like my other bike and in this area, there's always an unexpected incident/backup.

Does that mean this '09 Coyote is also carb'ed (no FI)? That would make this even more interesting since it's a new bike with old parts/technology that's easily maintainable ... correct assumption?

If you do decide to upgrade the EHC you would not want to use WP. There is no reason to rewire the bike. Just use the Electronik EHC that is plug and play. Wildsteedworx sells them.
