Baker 9 plate service kit.

I received a BDM clutch pack but upon closer inspection, have noticed that while the stack alternates steel/friction/steel/friction etc, two narrow steels take the place of a .121 single. As it's Sunday, and Baker is unavailable for my questions I was hoping someone can shed some light on this. I was hoping to install today. Thanks

So you have an extra steel plate now? That isn't right, don't run them together use your old thick one if nothing else.

The key here is the stack height needs to be in tolerance and we just had a thread on this recently actually. And I can't recall the stack height it's been 3 years since I've touched mine....let me see if I can find the thread.

Also not to mention the stack height was probably your issue all along. Or you got a shit load of miles on the clutch like well over 30k to wear these plates. Well I suppose if your dumping the clutch to burn rubber you might eat them otherwise they are robust.

I'm swapping my easy pull 9 plate into my wife's mastiff and putting her 12 plate in my k9. I was told by baker that as long as I swap the ramps all will be good. Also replacing seals at inner primary on k9.
