Plus 1Retired so ride when ever the weather allows, right now, just sitting in garage, all polished up, ready to go. Some day it will stop raining, things will dry up, and that motor will roar.
Every day in my brain. Sometimes to get out a mind.I only use my car/truck if:
- I'm hauling stuff
- I'm hauling people
- Potential for ice on the road
I keep my bike outside, uncovered, I fire 'er up and go.
With the Big Dog I'd at least keep 'er in the carport.
Many of us older riders are moving in the 3-wheeler direction for many reasons but at least our hair is still out in the air.Mine hasn't seen the highway for some time now. It runs, I crank her up every week, wipe it down and ride it back into the Garage. It all started that I would ride it because I had drop foot and couldn't shift very well. Well that developed into Neuropathy of the lower extremities so now I don't feel my feet. I do have the new Heel Toe shifter and I can ride it to get gas and so on but not too far. I usually ride my Tri-Glide, I don't want to drop the dog as do lose my balance once in a while. I don't want to sell it so I may have it converted to a trike later on if I don't die first.

Sorry to hear all that Carlos. Getting old sucks. My wife knows how much I love my Big Dog and will ask me what I am going to do when I can't hold it up anymore. My solution is the same as yours, trike it.Mine hasn't seen the highway for some time now. It runs, I crank her up every week, wipe it down and ride it back into the Garage.
