Throttle cables

I'm having an issue with my throttle cable sticking. I rebuild my carb after a bunch of miles and a move to Texas. Now that I'm done with that I put my throttle cables back on and they are continually falling off the track (of the grip). When I take the return cable off it appears to work no issue's. I know its next to impossible to trouble shoot without being there but I'm at a loss and about to just dump 90 bucks on new cables and see if that works. Any advise would be helpful, or maybe a link to a tube of someone replacing/repairing throttle cable so I can ensure I'm not just an idiot and missed something simple like a nylon washer on the carb.

Put new ferrils in and make sure the cables are adjusted properly, if they are hanging up cuz of to much slack they can fall off and even loosen the entire hand control, I had my right hand control loosen on my pitbull due to the cables not being properly adjusted, also make sure when you put the control back together everything lines up perfectly and you tighten the bolts evenly

Thanks, I'll give it a try and see what happens.

When you rebuilt your carb did you remove the butterfly from the carb? If so May want to check to ensure it is on the right way. It can be installed backwards which may also be causing the issue.
