I have the VH big radius pipes and bike ran great. I just put on the spike air intake from Big Dog. Now the bike stutters during accelerating and pops during deceleration. Do I need to change the jets? Also what would the recommended jets be for my setup? The VH pipes with the spike intake. 07 Mastiff with 117 ci.

Did ya remove the auxiliary bowl vent? Check out S&S website for their carb set up
Yes I have, after reading the S&S manual about different inlet and exhaust setups ..... thanks. I runs much better but still has a little sputter at a high speed roll on..... but that could be just a slight adjustment of the acceleration pump....

Maybe a air bleed jet change? My 107 will exhibit similar sputters but I have the older Super G with the drilled air bleed jet.

I’ve got the same pipes with 31/76 jets with OEM air cleaner. Runs great but it does have a little decel pop. I adjusted the mix a bit on the ride back from Daytona and it might be close.
You might want to check carb adjustments and verify that you do not have an exhaust leak at the exhaust ports.

I am not sure what jets I have but the intake is the new part in the equation, ran fine with the VH big radius and stock intake. Now with the spike inlet it has the midrange sputter. Feels like it has more response with the new intake. just don't want it running to lean at the midrange.......

Since reading your post I went in the garage and checked my bike. Found the exhaust bolts loose at the heads. I recently installed new gaskets and forgot to recheck the mount nuts after the first trip across I-4. Too bad it’s raining tomorrow or I’d ride and see what it sounds like.
Do a search on the forums for spike cleaner or decal pop if you can, lots of info and opinions.

Pull the bowl and check jet sizes i ran 32 int ad 78 main on my pitbull with the single spike and paul yaffee phantom pipe, it ran perfect my K9 I running the same pipe with a wimmer dual spike intake and it's jetted at 33 int and 78 main and she runs flawlessly, 78 seems to be the perfect main jet in most cases so you may need to bump up your int jet but I'd check to see what you have in there first it may just be a matter of adjustment

X2.

32 Int.
78 Main
60 Air Bleed
Bowl Vent Plug removed.
