Weight distribution is near perfect with the RSD, I would have thought your original closed primary would weigh more than the Karata.

You could always put a couple rolls of quarters in your right pocket to balance yourself.

If you know what the complete karata weighs i have a complete stock system in a box that i can throw on the scales.

Old style weighs more than what you have, pretty sure.

Weight distribution is near perfect with the RSD, I would have thought your original closed primary would weigh more than the Karata.

The inner primary plate is a solid piece of metal where the stock primary is thin material. Not a big deal just noticeable on the lsd.

I've always liked the whine that comes from them

that whine froman open belt makes me think of a washing machine -- One of my crew had one on his black widow and when he'd stall it we'd toss quarters at him so he could start the spin cycle!
