what i know and whats been done.

New 3.0 Dyna coil installed this year ran after install.
Sat for 6 plus Had hip replaced
wire checked red wire to coil insuring voltage presents 12.3
wire checked blue wire from coil to plug 26 ohm 0L 0.0
yellow lite on BD4121-1D flashes during start attempt red light bellow does not illuminate during start attempt or pwr on.
Red light on start module 170-00251 flashes during start attempt.
a know good coil and wires were slaved in with no start.
No fire to coil
Plugs were also changed from a running bike.

So which item do i buy the 170-00251 or the BD4121-1D? Or Both?

Have your battery checked/replaced. Welcome from Kansas.

I had a similar issue on my 03 Pitbull. The cam sensor was burnt, could actually smell it when the nose come was opened. Also needed an ignition module when my voltage regulator went on the lam, but that’s a different story. I know when testing your coil the procedure is not cut and dry and will post it if I can locate it.

Coil check/Spark
You don't measure it to ground! Disconnect all the wires on the coil then one meter lead goes on the (+) and the other lead goes to the terminal where the yellow wire was and then to the terminal where the blue wire was. Both measurements should be 2 - 4 ohms. That's the low tension test.

For the high tension test all you do is put one meter probe in each spark plug wire hole. The reading you get should be 12K-21K ohms.

If those tests are good and you have a good 12VDC to the coil you may just have bad spark plug wires
