well i just got some great news. my new detroit bros bike is going to be in s&s 50th for its new 103 pan motor.it is going to be done by next friday. here are some details from dave that he e mailed me.the only thing i have to do let him take it to some shows in the fall

S&S / Flathead Power brand new 103" high compression, 4-plug, generator
style case... It's got an electric ignition, which is hidden inside the S&S
distributor. If we do it, it's gonna be featured as an S&S 50th anniversary
bike... That means big magazine coverage, etc.

Also, wait until you see this seat. Just wait. Just fucking wait.

james does some great tooling work. if you never seen it chack it out at there web site detroit bros .com

End of next week we will be able to start breaking it in. the big thing about this engine is that it needs to be broken in nice and sloooooow. Once it’s broken in properly, they are saying it’ll push over 100 bhp. Boner!

they are swapping the rocker boxes and a custom exhaust. i think they are more excited than i am .

well i hope no later than 2 weeks. this bike is on its 4th major change . this was just a luck of the draw. because i wanted a jocky shifter with a kicker and hydrolic clutch with n1st just to make it a bit easier . they chose a baker franken tranny witch took almost 3 months to get. i was going with a mild built 80".the tranny showed up last week they started to put it together. when this jem came in,and yeah i am jumping out of my skin.

i was until is saw your new dog. i wish i could have a dog. hopefully soon, i have been on a casual house hunt for about a year. but been getting more serious lately .
i am leaning to the bull terrier bread. less drool. my last dog was a rott, and he would drool just like in the movie turner and hooch.

Man there is no mistaking a det. bros. bike. Everytime I see that frame and that old amf tank its always a great bike from my area. Yours I will say has got to be the first pan head I have ever seen though. I'm betting they are as impressed as you are. i wish I could have made it down there and teased you about your build.
