Don't u do it!!! Lol.. I seen that one yesterday.. to each their own is all o can say about it.. but yeah looks like these dogs just keep getting cheaper and cheaper.. sucks but oh well..

I just feel really bad for the guys who got em all New with all the problems before all the upgrades were available to help fix em.. that's all.. but I got mine used so I didn't pay the crazy prices that they were going for just a few years back or 10 years back when they were new..

While that maybe true for some, it wasn't the case for everyone. I had this discussion back in the old website when I did this and was advised it was the wrong thing to do, and the financial advisor for the company I worked for also said it was the wrong thing to do, but on a gut feeling going against the odds, I borrowed from my 401K and paid for the Mastiff, then I started to pay it back with an additional 5% interest paid to myself for the loan. 3 weeks before the stock crash in 08' while everyone around me was losing 45% of their 401's, I had moved my money to a fixed income plan, when the time was right, I jumped back into the market with both feet and watched it grow big time.
Sometimes you luck out.
So the way I look at it, my Mastiff was a freebie
Staying on subject, 20K is way too high

I like the paint job...but again...I love skulls. Blue/Silver...Skulls...wish I had the dough. I would have three dogs! I wouldn't pay asking price either.

I bought new, no regrets, still got it and only replaced a voltage regulator and a clutch cable, both out of warranty and both times the factory picked up the tab, ride in the rain, ride it everywhere and got my monies worth.
However, have wanted a bulldog bagger since I rode one of the first to come off the line before any had sold. Awesome bike...
And I like black baggers....

Agree with your sentiments regarding buying new and no regrets.... At that time (2006) BDM was really hitting their stride, had several repairs done via recall, even post warranty; i.e., strut bolts, VR, EHC, side battery covers, clutch cable, etc. At least I know what has been done to the bike and have the documentation. The recent post regarding brochures also reminded me of the incredible amount of accessories that were available so I had to pull that catalogue for old times sake. I, for one, am glad the prices have come down (do feel bad for the guys who bought theirs new). I could never afford a $30K plus bike. I got lucky and found mine up in Michigan for $9k. It's a 2007 Mastiff that had 5900 miles and air ride suspension. Came with roughly $2500-$3000 worth of accessories too. Talk about being at the right place at the right time.

Yes, and I bought it!!!! should be delivered in this week...
i figured 2200 mile is virtually new and i was looking for one of these for a while, and it fit the bill.
