Wintering EFI?

What do you do with EFI getting bike ready for hibernation?
With Carb I'm used to fill non ethanol (if I remember) add stabilization fluid, run carb empty.
Am I right assuming you can't run EFI empty, is there even a petcock? I would assume if shit in gas fucks up the carb, it would be worse on EFI. Or am I thinking backwards again?

I used Stabil the first couple of years when I got the K9. My mechanic said I should not use it but rather empty the carburetor bowl by removing the bolt at the bottom of the bowl, but mine is not EFI?

I am seriously considering replacing my dinghy motors to EFI as well. So much easier and so much more efficient. Efficiency on a bike doesn't count for much but the EFI's ability to adopt to changing temps/pressures does.

I'm not afraid of EF on bike per se, but EFI and Big Dog Heck I have one on my old Beemer... never given it a thought except noticing the throttle is a bit on/off.

-17 models they don't dare to mention it, but -16 K9 had S&S EFI or VFI as S&S is calling them, trying to hide the fact it's EFI from me!

As far as I'm aware the 2016 dogs are carb ...at least the 3 I've seen are.

I just looked BD site and specs.... I have no personal knowledge. Odd . Maybe they give you an option

Winterizing an EFI bike is like any other. You fill up the gas tank and keep the battery charged. All of that "drain the tank, empty the carbs, etc" bullshit causes more problems than it fixes.

fill the tank add stabilizer and run it a little to get it down into the carb and shut it down
