2004 Big Dog Chopper

Good evening, I could sure use some help folks. I put in off brand daymaker headlight I don’t know if this is the problem or not I have taken it back out and put original back in. My speedometer Light stays on even with ignition off Or totally disconnected. I’m lost.

What totally disconnected? Headlight,speedo or ignition?
I would look for a melted wire or a wire rubbing to ground maybe under the tank.

Do you still have the original EHC in stalled?

I think he said in fb he found the problem. He connected one ground wire to positive terminal. Unless there was two similar cases....
Would have been nice to tell it here too though.

TapioK my apologies for not posting here about my findings I actually thought I had. My intentions never were or will be to be rude. A ground wire to the positive side of the battery will dog gone sure cause problems lucky for me nothing major. I most certainly appreciate the help and input I got & get. It was a hard find I actually found pretty easy but when a person is constantly piddling with something they are apt to screw up sooner or later as I did. But I’m up and going getting ready for the Galveston Tx. Lone Star Rally. Thanks again & CHEERS!!!
