Do I have to register it or anything like that? I ordered another one because I really like it and I'm hoping it doesn't happen again but if I can get another one I'll be happy as can be
No register required I think you can start the claim through Amazon directly.

I hope it doesn't happen either.

Another guy on here had one that got water behind it and got a replacement shipped to him that week. but he had it on an uncovered trailer during a monsoon here in TX for about 300 miles. Kind of a rare situation, as I don't anticipate anyone would have ridden in that kind of rain, and surely wouldn't have done a full day in hard rain.

On Amazon? No. Just order it, and it'll ask for your address and info when you checkout.

You can see the area around the 9:00 position. It's also starting around the 3 but doesn't show up.

Strange...hasnt happened to either of mine. I'd start a claim process for a new one..

Sorry guys, for those that are having trouble I was hoping this was a good affordable solution. Think we got more good than bad ones overall but still annoying for some folks. I suppose if you want to splurge you buy the official LED with glass which are around $400.

I got 6500 miles on this one looks like I just got it..

No need to apologize at all. It is awesome and of course there's gonna be some bad apples. But overall it is the best light I've ever seen. Amazon has them down to 45. I ordered a new one and wrote amazon about the old one. They freely gave me my money back. I made sure I expressed I was pleased with it and sometimes things just happen.

Which light are you guys ordering from Amazon and what would fit my Pitbull?
Its a Sunpie brand. The add says: 5-3/4 5.75 Inch Daymaker Projector LED Headlight for Harley Davidson Motorcycles Headlamp 45W Chrome.
I would send you a pic but I don't quite have that down yet.

I found it on Amazon, thanks for the information! I wonder how these compare to a HID set up? I went with HID over LED on my Electraglide, and the reason that I did that is because I can keep a spare bulb with me when I go on a trip. With these LED's, if they go out far from home, how easy will it be to get a replacement? I believe that I'd be ok with one of these on my Pitbull though, because I don't see myself on a long trip with the hard tail.

Ker has a solution for that with the turn signal replacements should be enough light to get you home.
I'll see if I can find the link.

You could just carry the regular H4 with ya, but the round trim ring is a bitch. The Wolf headlight is easy peasy to change the bulb if needed, but the daymaker won't work in that design.

Yeah, so many options. Just wondering how everyone is doing with the LED's, are they lasting a good bit, anyone having any problems with pre-mature failures?

Suffice to say it's not the same quality of the Harley one and it's about 1/8th the cost. With that said however most of us that haven't had any issues and those that have had issues seemed to be defective units from the start and failed pretty soon after purchase <30 days which were replaced under warranty.

Regardless of quality everyone seems to appreciate the light.

I have 8000 miles on one light and no issues. And 2500 miles on my other bike no issues either.
