Tranny rebuild

Sprung an oil leak from the tranny - the pulley (right) side, believe its coming from either the gasket on the bearing door or the seal (most probably its the seal). Either way have pulled the tranny and am looking to get it rebuilt, just seals and bearings.
Exchanged some emails with Andrew who has previously rebuilt the tranny on one of my Dog's. Andrew no longer offers "off the bike" tranny rebuilds and requests I trailer in the bike - Sorry, not happening.
Spoke with Baker, must have got something wrong but they only take on rebuilds for a flat fee of $ 1,295. Includes the rebuild, "any" required parts and return shipping - again not happening as all I need is to install the rebuild kit (seals and bearings).
Would rebuild this myself however do not having the right tools. While rigging these up is an option I have come to realization that its just not worth the aggravation.
Any suggestions on where and who is a reliable source to get this done? Alternatively, any member have a complete tranny rebuild tool kit who is willing to let me borrow it - will pay for shipping and a 12pack - :)

I didn't know that about Andrew but doesn't surprise me....last I checked he was up to $1400 for a rebuild and it used to be $399. I guess he has more business than he can handle at those prices.

Curtis is doing rebuilds at WildSteedWorx

Also, you can try contacting BigDog. Chris at BigDog I traded him my old transmission for a newly rebuilt one with SKF bearings, per him they are better than the ones offered by Baker.

The tools I found for about $200-300 which does make it a pricey endeavor.

I have a 2006 Mastiff Transmission with 2700 Miles on it. I replaced it with one rebuilt by Andrew only because I wanted to get the out put shaft upgraded. There is nothing wrong with the tranny. If you are interested let me know I sell it for $1200.00 shipped

Many thanks for the offer. At this point it's just an oil leak, the tranny itself is working well, all gears are shifting smoothly, easy to find neutral- all good. Replacing the seals should do the trick. Will pass, thanks again
