No but he mentions its new. Must have put a new one in which might be an interesting story you gotta beat on those transmissions pretty darn good to Fuck it up

I wonder how that would affect the gearing? Would that trans be an overdrive?
Depends on which one he went with its possible it could be an OD 6th gear like what came stock in the 2004 and later models.
Overall there should be no significant difference in gearing swapping 5 gears with 6 other than when you get to cruising at 80MPH.
There's tons of aftermarket kits that you can swap out the Gear set to the point you don't even have to remove the transmission

Interesting. I quess you would have to ride it to see wher it was. Is high gear on a five speed direct?
03's had 6 speed. Some had the Jim's, like mine, and others had the Baker

Yes guys my 2003 came with a 6-speed in it as well but of course after I picked it up in 2008 the Thunderheart was failing on me didn't leave me stranded anywhere but I knew I was having problems with the ignition so what do I do time to 86 that issue I put a Morris Magneto on the bike still have it Best Choice ever made and after I did that he would like to computer with searching for the ignition it would make my turn signals blink at random left or right did it matter so I reverse the ones on my triple trees so I can see which one was blinking or not don't want no one not knowing what I'm doing got tired of that idiotic deal and I totally stripped the complete wiring harness out of it it made it really easy no computer just like five or six wires coming off of the battery two circuit breakers. This was all back in 2008 2009 and I haven't had a problem with it since so my guess is..., it's the electrical problem that these are notorious for and it would be a simple fix
