Bill, there's a pile of dogs available everywhere for sale. It's why they are so cheap.

Although I will admit, the price pressure is on all custom bikes. If it's not a bagger it can be bought for a song and dance

You play the fiddle... I'll dance a jig... :oldhardlaugh:
Just talking with a guy today about that very thing... the bikes, not the song & dance. :oldlaugh:

Yes, they are "cheap" today but where can you get a brand new bike today that looks so good and very custom? I'm not going to give mine away and definitely I will not sell it for $9K (that 's what I was offered by this shop... http://www.vtwincity.com/...I rather keep it.
Bikes/cars are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. They say that used bikes/cars are going down 50% in the next year. I got to laugh when I see someone selling a 2004 BD chopper for $14k when I had to sell mine for $7k with $7k worth of custom parts on it. You never get back what you have into it so just realize this and decide is it worth selling for what someone is willing to pay for it or just keep it. These dreamers with their $10 - $20k price will be keeping theirs...

I looked at the red chopper...second bike in. Talked with the guy...asked him a bunch of questions about the bike....said it was like brand new....turned out to be a piece of shit. He now has it marked as "excellent".....bullshit for sure.
Interesting it doesn't look too bad!

Yep, I see so many "custom" big wheel baggers these days and very few wide tire choppers. The hipsters are riding the old school choppers too, but I am still loving my chopper(s). Not the most comfortable ride but love it!
