Headlamp wire connector replacement with Daymaker?

Just joined the many and bought a Daymaker LED headlamp. I took the old bulb out and noticed the connector was melted at the black wire. Would I need a ceramic connector or could I just pick up a replacement plastic connecter at the auto parts store? I am thinking the LED will not have as much load as the stock headlamp assembly and a regular plastic connector will be just fine. What do you guys think??

I believe your on the right track with the LED and a plastic connector, however if you ever sell the bike, it would be nice to have the Ceramic one in there to eliminate problems down the road if someone were to put a H4 back in there. Just make sure the terminal tab is a tight fit in the receptacle terminal and make sure you get them in the connector in the right order. So high beam isn't low or visa versa.

If yours is melted... safe bet to replace it.
