You said it, "been reading through a lot of threads here and everyone has their own opinion"...

I use AMSOIL in all three holes and its puuuuurfect....

PM me your email and I will send you the Manual if you like (the Manual will not tell you what brand of Oil you must use but it is handy to have).

franco, another kind member has already offered to send me the manual, but I do appreciate it! I know everyone has their own opinion on brands, I was just looking for what type of fulid bdm actually calls for. like gear oil, atf +4, dextron, plain 20w50. so on and so on. thanks guys!

I just got finished talking with Jen at S&S. about this very thing. for breaking in my new motor. she said 1st she and S&S recommends there own oil made by Spectro they worked long and hard to come up with just the right formula. as for conventional or synthetic she said if I was using synthetic to stay with it even for the break in period not cheap to do though, change after 50 miles and 500 miles. that's a bit excessive to me, but who am I?? She said 2nd she would go with Mobil 1 since that is who S&S was recommending last year or so.

Baker themselves rebuilt my tranny after the countershaft bolt failed and they completely rebuilt my primary. I talked to the man himself Burt Baker and he recommends and uses Spectro. That is what I use. When they setup my primary I watched them and thats is what they put in the primary was Spectro Heavy Duty Chaincase. Of course S&S is gonna push their own product but that also was produced with Spectro. Hmmmm anyone see a pattern here? Just my two cents worth.

I might try the Spectro this summer (been using AMSOIL and been happy with it) .... I have to import both anyways... neither Amsoil or Spectro are available in Spain... pffffff

I´ve found these: I guess they are the ones I need? (NOT CHEAP!!!)

MOTOR: http://www.taco-motos.eu/en/heavy-duty-platinium-full-synthetic-oil-sae-20w50.html

PRIMARY: http://www.taco-motos.eu/en/spectro-primary-case-oil.html

TRANS: two choices... which one???
1. http://www.taco-motos.eu/en/platinum-synthetic-gear-lubricants.html
2. http://www.taco-motos.eu/en/heavy-duty-6-speed-transmission-oil.html

Thanks.
