Mine showed up today, but I've been to busy to even take it out of the box. On my wife's v-star, I squeezed an LED in the headlight bucket, so now, the two spot lights look really dim. So I got her the Daymaker spot lights also.

I had a v star 1100 and I had HID light set up in it.. was pretty bitchin really.. but had I known then about these.. I might have got one then..

It's not the bulbs that are the problem, it's the reflector.Doc's and Curtis's suck ass!
The reason the DayMaker works so well is because as a capsule you are buying an LED bulb & a reflector that are designed to work together. LED is not only brighter, it distributes its light different thus, you will never achieve optimum results placing an LED bulb in an Incandescent reflector.
I currently struggle with this. Choosing style over function, I'm sticking with my wolf headlight, and just accepting less than stellar performance.
