Send yours out to a chromer

That's about right.. I was quoted about 600 for the rear and about 3 to 400 for the frontI had mine chromed for $1100.
That is sickWay more expensive where I am. Wish it was that cheap. The closest Chromer to me is about four hours away and they want $1800 just for my wheels and pulley. Doesn't include the hubs
For that kind of money you might even hire Dent for 2 hours!$1800 will buy a lot of Mothers billet polish
Easy, he only works 1 day a week anywayFor that kind of money you might even hire Dent for 2 hours!

I bought another bike this past Friday. I didn't find that pope enclosure. 2012 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Classic.A buddy of mine said "now look what you have done, now your gonna have to buy a motorcycle to ride" lol. I said "if I can't find that same enclosure that the pope has, I might have to buy another bike to ride".
Hey I'm just curious on ur rotors.. did they rechrome those or did u just buy new and if so did u have to grind em down to fit the buttons?I have a guy who is very good. I spent quite a bit of time researching and went a few years without a chromer. When you find someone who really knows what they are doing, then you don't question price at that point. There are very, very few that know how to do these back rims, and that is due to the depth of the dish. Many have asked about my chromer, and I am always hesitant on giving his company out. He has an overwhelming amount of business and not enough staff. He typically does not provide a fast turn around time. If you're patient and persistent, in a nice way, then he is your man to do the job. If you asked me, if I would do it again, the answer would be yes, because you will never get the shine that chrome gives off. You might come close, but you won't replicate it. It's very easy to manage with just a little soap and water. I just don't have all that extra time to polish all this aluminum and stay on top of it all the time.

Yeah.. I know they come chrome but they were notorious for peeling because they were flash plated is why I was asking. I just had mine re-chromed and just as they told me it would be a bit thicker then initially because they werent flash plated second time around. So I was just wondering how u got around that if u did. I know now just to order a shelf inner rotor if these ever peel again. LolThe inner portion comes chromed from the factory. I don't believe I sent my rotors out.
