Went for a ride last week with my brother in law about 350 miles and it became abundantly clear that I am now to old to ride a hard tail so Old Yeller is up for sale. 8500.00 I am in the Kansas city area.

350 miles is a lot on a hard tail in a day no matter the age. Keep the dog just don't do 350 .

I would agree, I'm young but still 350 miles for me is getting uncomfortable. Keep the BD for the shorter rides and get a Honda Goldwing or Star Venture for the long rides. :old2::old2::old2:

I was thinking a k9 or something..lol.

There's a reason I got both! It's so I don't have to do 350 anymore on the hardtail. It can be done but it's a beating unless the roads are all smooth which is impossible for that kind of stretch.

Last time i did 350+ on the rigid instead a day was probably out to Jefferson to meet liferider that was about 3 years ago

Good luck on the sale:old2:

I just bought a Can-Am Spyder F3T myself for those longer rides, way more comfortable than the Dog and I don't have a hard tail, I'm with ya there:whoop:

At 67 I had to give up the Mastiff. It was a soft tail but still a back buster on 100 mile rides. Got a 2012 Road King and put in 500 mile days with no ache. Also no vibration with the twin-cam. Another year with the Mastiff and I would have given up riding.

K9 is an excellent choice, my wife's Stryker is an excellent ride for 350+ miles. I take it on the longer rides. I've taken my Ridgeback on one ride that was about 420 miles total and I'll admit... I felt beat up afterwards lol
