.... what can I say ..... ? just running short of money and the wife and I are retired and living on a fixed income... we need some cash in the bank. Price is $8200 on Cycle Trader.... but to those on this forum I will take $1000 off the price.. I posted it planning on taking off $500 in negotiations ... so an extra $500 for my friends on Bigdogbiker....

... not yet. It is being repainted and updated with all new bearings, and head to toe polish... I had xXx update my carb so it runs perfectly... should be done in a few weeks. My Marine Corps friend in Austin is doing the re-do. He was a jet mechanic and has his own business: Stryker Customz. I told him he could paint that on the bike somewhere because he will be using it as a promo piece for his business. He might auction it off at the Austin ROT rally, or I might like it too much and tell him I want to keep it. :)
I don't know how he will 'update' it, paint it, .... I just said: do what you want.
I will post new pics and such when he has finished it. :)

I just got my first SS check today..... so maybe we can re-arrange things so I can keep the bike. Trying to not make it a temporary solution to a permanent problem... oh well, life goes on and tomorrow is another day. Head up; breathe deep and put a smile on the face. :)

Kind of irrelevant but I haven't started collecting my SS yet. I know it's a gamble but every year you wait past the full retirement date you get an 8 percent pay increase. If I collect it now while still working it will all go back in the government coffers to be redistributed. Sorry for the rant and the jacking...

Yea..not really wise to collect while working for that reason. No need to unnessarily boost your income to pay more in taxes
