I can't imagine why someone would choose a road glide over this. nice bike.
Well, if you're not willing to wrench yourself I can see why someone would. With no real dealer network there are people that will shy away -- hell I have one friend who after years has finally worked up to doing oil changes and I have others than can't/don't even do that -- and some of these guys have had bikes for over 30yrs

Well an indy shop will be happy to maintain a big dog if you're into paying someone to do it. Heck, if I had a shop I trusted and I wasn't such an anal nutcase with my stuff I'd gladly use my Visa for all my maintenance. I'm confident an indy is cheaper than a Harley dealer anyway.

I agree...I certainly don't recommend big dogs to everyone I know that rides. I just can't recommend a bike that requires a high level of maintenance to friends who I know don't want that and will just be bitching. It they go broke paying a competent shop. I know lots of folks that like their Harley's with their warranties.

They are not for everyone and I'm okay with that. More for me and us.

I can't blame you...you got all kinds of fun stuff to do you shouldn't be spending your time wrenching and polishing if you can be driving a bus or a race car or cruising on the Harley

You must be a better angler than me. I generally only catch a buzz. Master Buzz Catcher I'm probably listed at.

There actually might be a record of that in one one cities paperwork somewhere...haha

Honestly Eric, I never would have thought that driving a car would ever encroach on my motorcycles or fishing, but boy was I wrong.

Hobbies and interest change and it's just one of those things that you can't do everything.

I mean go back in these threads 5-10 years you got guys like Moe who built a bike by hand and never painted it sold it all for racing cars. GasMan rebuilt his BigDog take a look back at that Phoenix thread he said next one will be a ground up build...well he ended up selling that and got a Harley.

Go where your interest take you and you'll never make the wrong decision and have the time of your life doing it.
