I just got a2004 big dog boxer while taking my first good ride the bike started blowing the horn and I noticed a little smoke coming out from under the seat bike dies start to investigate and found that the ehc was smoking got a wire plus replacement and now the bike won't start and can't get lights or anything else to come on need help figuring this out

Do you have the wp schematics? They are available on their website. Recommend retracing the wire and make sure everything is connected. Including the jst connections. Also did you change out your key ignition with the wp?

He is going to have a hard time installing a plug and play system after installing the wp system though. Agree?

Not DOC's ESC, WP is very similar to the PDM which I had on mine. New wire harness with ESC and very detailed instructions makes install an absolute breeze..

So with docs system I could still install it even though I have wired it with a wire plus? The wp had been good to me but the rats nest of wires in the battery tray suck

Yep same with RIP. You run a new wiring harness down the backbone. Everything plugs in with the connectors under the tank
