Ok Guys, I am wanting to replace some of the polished Aluminum Prts that are on the 117" Motor on my 2009 Coyote and does anyone know what year the base design S&S Motor is on our Dogs?

Not sure what you mean. S&S motors come polished, natural, or powder coated. What parts do you want chrome? The Rocker boxes are chrome. They don't chrome crank cases. You would have to do that yourself...but I have never seen that on a S&S. I have never seen chrome jugs or heads either.

I know that the Crank Cases and Jugs don't come chrome, I am refering to the gear covers, push rod base cover, etc that bolt on the motor. Just tired of having to spend hours polishing alot of Aluminum before riding when I can just wipe it done with detailer and ride in 10 minutes with chrome.

I just had my rotors re-done, fork brace and fork brace braces.. just a heads up, I spoke with four chrome places, 2 of them very well known and the both told me the same thing that the original parts are just flash coated, which is about .25-.5 mil thick and when they are re-done it will be 2 to 3 mil thick.. so that needs to be considered in whatever you are doing. A few of us use atlas, I used a place called speed custom chroming, he does all of Jesse James work and has for about 17 years, and now does his guns deal. He does all of Jay Leno's, Tim Allan's and quite a few other stuff.. great work. Photos are before and after

I am in the process of plating all of my aluminum.. aside from my engine of coarse.. but after puting 748 miles on my bike last weekend with another guy riding the same bike with all the chrome, I see the difference right off the bat and we'll worth it!

That's fine...he just mentioned because some of the parts when they are plated with a 2-3mill chrome they don't fit right anymore. Like the rotor buttons and it doesn't fit on the hub. Have to take a little off after plating.

And after doing all that cost compared to pain I'd just buy new stuff to last another 10 years and be done with it.. don't get me wrong the chrome pops and looks a lot better then the rest of the chrome, but the brace is 119, I paid 80 for it to be done, I'd do that one again, the brace brackets we can get for 39, I paid 40 a piece to get done, I'd do that again, rotors are 150 for the centers, I paid 80 a rotor to get em chromed, I'd just buy new next time.. all of the billet stuff isn't as meticulous as the rotors so I'd chrome em because u can't buy em chrome. Just some fyi..

Hot damn that turned out nice man! I'm thinking a major tear down/clean up is due for mine this winter.

You can tell that the chrome is thicker too, it literally looks beefier and richer in the pics. So you're saying just don't do the rotors but everything else is fine to reassemble with it being a bit thicker?

Lorenzo, I had to send my wheels to California to get them chromed bc no one local could chrome an 18x10 rim. I had them done 10 years ago and they still look amazing. I'll find the company's info for you.
