I think he is a little high on the price of his upgrades. $700 for a set of tires? I just bought the same tires on line for less than $400.
Idk bro, I was in Dallas a few years back and caught a nail and the rear tire cost me 526 installed, a front installed is usually around 180.. so that's about right.. granted I have found easier cheaper ways since then and will never pay that again, my last rear installed was 372 and my front was about 140 installed and now I have a spare front that I got off line for 60 bucks.. lol

The price could still be a lot depending if you take the Bike in or just the wheels
Yeah, I was going to do the same, jp cycles had a good deal on tires and I was going to get tires from them but when the shop broke it down for me on how much it would cost to mount them.. I decided to go with their tires. Got cobras as well.. my first set so I hope I like em. It would have been 85 to mount the rear plus however many bead bags it took for weight. 35 to mount the front.

That's still only $520 if you bought the tires from JP Cycles and had your shop mount them. He said he paid $750.
Lol.. Killin me smalls.. lol.. a lot of shops are different.. Strokers charged me 526 just for the rear.. I'm not saying he is right, but I am saying he might not be too far off depending on where he is at.. either way.. it's a steal on the bike at that price

Ok, I understand now. Being from a small town I'm used to a lot lower prices. I wasn't trying to beat a dead horse. It's a nice bike for sure.
