Thats a good one!
On my writings I was thinking of K9, it would be interesting to have all the values for Mastiff and see what the original trail is...
Here are the values for the 2006 BDM models. Assume they have not changed over the years?

The 300's most shops can't balance them as they really to are too big for the machine. Strokers can't even balance them and they are one of the top custom shops in the South West and a bdm dealer at one point. And most of us just use Dyna Beads and it removes the weights which are ugly

As far as mounting moat tire changers can handle a 300 but some may not want the liability or risk of damaging the rim. They make an extra arm to assist on these larger tires that a Harley shop may not have as they never see a tire over a 200 which is quite easy to change.

Thanks for the info. So the dyna beads work well at all speeds?

Most of us run the Dyna beads. 3ounces in the rear and 2 in the front.

Actually I didn't run Dyna beads or even wheel weights on my last rear tire change I couldn't get them in through the valve stem because the hole at the bottom was too small. I didn't have any issues..

I took the weights off alicias bike and had it up to around 70mph I didn't feel any wheel issues but still thinking of going with the dyna beads
I don't think it's very noticeable on the rear.

I mean if you can get them in the tire run them for sure. The valve stem rubber inside the rim was too small I couldn't get any beads down the stem, was really weird never had that issue before. When I changed the tire recently I just dumped the 3 ounces through the sidewalls bead before I set it the bead on the rim.

I will probably swap out valve stems next time around I actually have a 90 degree one to use

I'll have to run it again when the rain stops in 2'weeks or
Just try putting them in 280 probably close enuff to a 300 for
Amount of ounces
Yea you can do 3 ounces if I recall thats the same in the 250...i had a typo I fixed you quoted when I said 2. 2 ounces is for the front

Now that I'm changing my own tires Going forward I'll dump it through the sidewall it's a hell of a lot easier.

Even if you have more than that, it won't hurt anything. When I changed my back tire, the guy just threw the whole bag in there. I'm like WTH, but he said it will break apart. The first 7 miles, I'm like WTF is wrong with my bike. Then I remembered the bag about the time it smoothed out.

Set the bead on one side before you dump them in, pending on the position you have the tire sitting they can get between the bead and the tire if the bead isn't set
