I just picked up a chrome bolt at ace a few weeks back for the rear caliper during a tire change. Took it off last weekend to rebuild the caliper that thing rounded out. What a shit quality. I noticed the head was a little softer than chrome bolts I got before, this was a different ACE store. The one near my house closed and the next one doesn't stock chrome. Had to drive 40 min across town for 1 bolt.

Just ordered a bunch of new chrome stock from www.boltdepot.com. just about ordered a handful each of all the sizes on the Dog wasn't cheap to get about 80 chrome pieces but better quality fasteners and I don't have to drive 1.5 HR round trip for a fuckin bolt. They are ALOT cheaper online too the rear caliper bolts were almost $4 a pop at ACE I paid about $2

Fastenal won't sell to the public in Canada anymore, our sales rep was telling me it will be the same in the US shortly..:oldbang: Glad our company has a corporate account..:old2:
That sounds ridiculous...why have retail stores if your not gonna sell to the public

Especially when the markup on small quantities is a few hundred percent!

Ace has the bolts, nuts, and washers but they are proud of them! Too high for my pockets.
