Handle Bar Diameter.

Just looking to find out the diameter on 05 Chopper handle bars.

1 1/4" I believe and the only parts that will fit are BDM parts like grips and levers, etc.

Yeah dont blow your money on other grips unless your positive of they will fit a BD bar. BD bars are slightly larger.
So most of your aftermarkets will not fit.

Yeah, If you want handlebars, you will have to have them made. Almost positive they're 1 3/16"

So, to keep all electronics working and not spend BIG money on controls to boot, you have to make the bars and, as said above, to change the grips, make sure you know they'll fit your bike before buying them.

Yep bars are 1-1/4 but the bar ends are 1-3/16 where the controls mount

Only 2003 and older BD owners enjoy the luxery of fitting HD aftermarket parts for the most part.
