I remember talking with a bike builder once, he told chromed frame is a pain to make electronics work. He claimed grounding is bad with chrome.

He never did the chrome...he left it Nickel. He calls it the "Nickel Chopper."

He really liked that last red one but.... He took my K-9 for a spin and was rather impressed. So here I am trying to find a nice 2003 for him and all he wants now is a K-9. So, we found a 2006 K-9 for him that we are going to check out. He has homes in four different countries so if Norway won't let him take it there, he will just take it elsewhere. I do expect him to keep it here for a while and go with us to biketoberfest as well as a Sturgis trip this year or next year, before he exports it. The picture above is the one we are going to check out. The owner claims it is original paint....
