My cvo streetglide has always had a top end noise. It now has over 30,000 miles answer the noise hasn't changed. "Cow"
I specially like that rather sharp click click click noise when giving throttle, bit like someone playing triangle . I did put octane booster, wasn't that. Btw wife liked the back seat, and the room on trunk. Other than that she thought the bike is fat and ugly. My saying it is cvo and screaming eagle and stage 3 and expensive didn't make any impression what so ever.

I just happened to talk to S&S today on this subject. They said if you have the flat top pistons, and something in the nose cone. I don't remember what he said, but the valve train can handle a .600 cam. However, they don't recommend running the .600 in a 117ci. They said it was an awesome cam for the 107, but the tuning curve on the 117 is different. For the money, the 585 is the best way to go, unless your willing to fork out the bucks for the major changes, and jump to the .650 cam.
Sniper did this. They actually welded the inside of the heads and reshaped them, bored the carb, and added the thunder jet. He's running a .090 main jet, and I believe a .035 intermediate. The bike is pushing 145 hp, and doesn't feel radical when ridding it. You just need to hang on when you crank the throttle.
With all the being said, and you knowing the facts, that Sniper is about 50 lbs. heavier than Brian, ridding a stock 09 117 K9. They were at the track, and Sniper ran a 119MPH and I forget the seconds, and Brian ran 116 MPH and 4 seconds behind Sniper.
Was Sniper's $5000 spent well? I don't think so.
If you need more HP between your legs, drop a 585 in it and run it.
4 SECONDS.... ??!! maybe 2...

Carlos have you dyno'd the build. I would like to see the torque curve on that stump puller
No I have not, but it pulls really hard and it takes brass balls to go WOT in 6th gear with the TAZ XXX Carb with two Thunder jets (I run the .033 intermediate and 78 Main jet). I have tried it and the dog never stopped pulling so I let off before I shit my pants. I didn't have the digital speed-O back then but I can tell you the needle was past 120 and all I could think was "Oh please no front wheel wobble" I will not try that again :oldnono: . I will dyno the bike next time I find a dyno that can handle the bike. The local HD has a dyno but can't handle the BDM.
