Are you running an led headlight or the original h4? The headlight may have shorted out if it's an h4, I know that can cause havoc with an ehc setup not sure what effect it would have if any on the rip
Does the Rip have a fuse link to it? do you have any lights?

Did you by any chance try a different battery, or disconnect the lithium and try cables to you car, not running of coarse. Maybe the Lithium took a shit, just throwing things out there.
I have a 2008 K-9 EFI have never had any electrical issues until about three nights ago went for a quick ride heading down interstate at about 75 miles an hour and it was like somebody took the battery out of the bike no power whatsoever power never return tried turning the key wiggling the key all electrical connections tight headed trailered home have gone through the bike in every direction I know how and I'm baffled I still have no power whatsoever battery is a lithium ion and is very strong low test perfect any help would be appreciated in any direction

Those little circuit breakers have the button hid on the bottom side of them if they are the gray ones. They are hard to see. Some times they trip half in and out. Don't ask me how I know!!! LOL111

check the key and see it work using a multimeter.
Check all the grounds going to the RIP.

It sounds like rip is not getting power.

You can do an old trick and use a pin to prick the insulation on the power line to the rip and connect the mulitmeter to that. If you do this over that small pin prick with heat shrink tape, electrical tape or spray on electrical tape (my preference for this). You can also use the pin trick to get to the connectors on the jst connectors.

When I test the key ignition with the key off the multimeter reads zero when I turn the key on the multimeter reads the battery voltage which is 13.8v

You need to check that power is getting to the rip thru the harness and that all the grounds on the harness are ok.
If that all passes I'd begin to suspect the RIP although that would be the first failure I've heard of.

If I can free up some time I'll see if I can make a run that way and take a look.

Hey phat. Write jason from kansas motorcycle works a private message and explain whats going on with the rip kit. I think he helped develop the rip kit. He is on this site but i can't remember his screen name! CRS you know! Hopefully some one will chime it with his screen name. It will be hard to diagnose without a diagram.
