Oil blow by at air filter

I know I read some issues with the S&S 107 having oil blowing out the air filter. I'm having this issue with my 03 Mastiff, where do you find the puk cans, filters to replace having it attached to the back of the carb plate? It's making a mess on my push rod covers and engine from the oil dripping from the air filter cover. Somewhere I read it will do this if the oil level is high, I put little less then 3-qts in ahwile back, the manual says it holds 3-qts. Maybe I should put 2.5qts. next time I change the oil? Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Sean

Let some of the oil out of your oil bag. I use a little more then 2 1/2 qt and that's with the oil cooler. Hook up the puke can from Wimmer to your crankcase breather and not heads. The crank case is where the most oil comes from. Leave the head breathing into the filter. This should solve your problem. Here is a pic of my puke can setup:

I know mine says the oil level must be 1.5 inches from the bottom of the fill hole. That said I ordered one from Dennis Kirk (Kuryakyn) for @ $45. and I also put a filter on the top breather as well. Hope these photos work. Anyway no problems since... I am gonna clean it up a little with polished oil line brackets next. Whole thing was less than $60. I will say about the puke can I bought the braided oil line is kinda a pain because of the extremely tight fit. I also bought a few extra clamps from parts store to use instead of squeeze clamps.

Thanks guys, so I can run both into this filter correct?
"crankcase breather and not heads" Not sure if I understand which is which?
I have one hose each coming from the top carb side of the cylinder then they tee into the back of the air filter backing plate. Is this crankcase or head breathers? "Leave the head breathing into the filter" which cylinder is this front or back? Why cannot I just run both into the puk filter like it is connected to the air filter backing plate?

The crankcse is the one that is probably causing you all the grief. The crankcase is the one that goes to the bottom of the backing plate towards the rear of the bike. This is the one you need to run to a puke can. The heads are the one with a t and goes to the top of the backing plate and into the filter. You can leave that alone for now or run a filter like Agent. I left my head breather alone and I don't have any blow by. Most of the blow by comes from the crankcase.
