to do the peg "fix" like Ker.

Something feels WRONG about using radiator hose on an air cooled bike!

Ker -- How the hell did you figure out which radiator hose fit given all the different sizes?

Also, I promise this I will not follow ALL of Ker's trend -- I will not be getting an ass-backwards trike -- if I did my girlfriend would stop riding with me! I'm also certain some of my crew would attempt to revoke my man card for that! :oldhardlaugh::oldhardlaugh::oldhardlaugh::oldhardlaugh:

:chopper:Chopperstilyoudie -- That's why I own that domain!

Here's the part number from Advance auto, I took the foot peg with me without the end cap on it to the parts store, all you need is a hose straight section long enough to cover the whole peg.
Now as far as your next problem, seeing she's your girl friend and not your wife, but if you were married and your wife said to you that she WON'T ride with you anymore until you get something more comfortable,:oldeek: I'm gonna guess you would throw that man card away and go buy something that she would like in a heart beat:oldlaugh: Just remember, happy wife, happy life :oldhardlaugh:
And since I retired and she works, I'm not one to argue:p

And that would be why I have never been married! And have no intention of changing that!
I'm more like a friend from back in the day -- He inherited his brothers pan head (he hadn't ridden in years) after his brothers accident. The wife was "Either the bike goes or I do". Took about 3years but she left and he couldn't have been happier -- always remember

How do spell relief "D-I-V-O-R-C-E"

Yeah, but you have to mess with the people at the store.
I went in and kid asked if he could help
I said I need a radiator hose
He said What make and year and model
I replied No idea whatsoever.
Poor buy's heads spinning trying to figure out how to help me before I tell him the part number
Then I proceed to tell him it's going on an air-cooled motorcycle.
Now he and his co-worked have this deer in the headlights look on them.

Ahh, free entertainment while shopping.

That's why I took my peg with me, told him I wanted a hose, he said what kind, I said to fit over this, he said come on back to the wall of hoses, nope, nope, yep this will do. Paid the man and left:old2:
10 seconds on the wall of hose:oldlaugh:

At least that was a legitimate question. Now they ask that same question (make, model, year) when you ask for Gojo or an air freshener. I needed an emission cap/plug and typically they might have an assorted box of them or an assorted package of them hanging. He asked me what's it for. I said "Holley carburetor". He yelled to his manager "do we have an emission cap for a Harley carburetor. Manager said "it's Holley dumb ass, it's called a Holley Carburetor". Kid said "I never heard of that before".

Radiator hose for a K9. I thought I was going to read about something new coming out of Kansas. A water buffalo K9 now that would be new.

I believe ya, my original failed the cold test, :yesnod: Warm it up and it worked, I believe ya, that's why I went with DOC's ESC
yeah both mine have failed the cold test (first and second K-9) First time I used the WiresPlus (hated it) this time I used the RIP -- much easier overall and so far trouble free except for a glowing LED (probably needs a pull up resistor and I haven't bothered to do anything about it.)
Actually it happen east of you -- was in Levittown, PA that night at about 8:30 when it happened.
Used to ride thru your area periodically...when I lived in NJ

ok, ker
Have you figured out the size hose for the shifter/brake pegs yet? Need a part Number for them to.

I really like the new look of the pegs and am going to do the rear ones to match even though the rubber is in good shape.
Wish I could get it off without destroying the old rubber -- sure someone could use it.

I believe bigkel would have this, he did his shifter and brake, I left mine alone cause they were still ok.
