The main reason I was looking at them is for longevity, I do indeed wear my work boots more then my chucks on my bike being the majority of my riding is back and forth to work and when it's time to go home it's time, not time to changed.. lol.. and out of all the other sets out there, those were the best looking.. everyone has them damn spike ones.. lol

Sun was shining and fog on my speedo cleared for a while! Trip read: F 9.E Odometer told: 7. F E. 4. All good!
Then it was 189.8 on trip I went to fill her up and got 4,1 gal. So I suppose I get 189 miles, or about F 9,E miles per tank. Brilliant!

don't think it has been mentioned, but if it has been, sorry about doubling up on it. the hose on the footpegs has been covered and the part # given, but i don't think the shifter and brake pegs have been covered. i picked up a couple feet of 7/8" Gates Green Line black heater hose this morning at the not so local O'Rielly's in Beaufort. there is white print on the hose that can be washed off with carb cleaner, but the green line in the name of the product is molded in. if you are careful, you can keep it rotated so the line is to the bottom and won't be seen. i used dish detergent inside the hose and on the cleaned peg center. the last inch is a pain in the ass but it is doable. i ended up with a pretty well matched set. but i do still have the original passenger pegs in place until the OL wears them out. your local O'Rielly's may have to order the 7/8" because it's not common. 2' cost me under $10 and is enough for 2+ sets so i would say well worth it.
