Have you thought about adding risers? What's the different handlebars on our BDM's? My K-9 fits me perfect but I would like a taller one on the Bulldog. Any idea which model had the highest bars?
Have you thought about adding risers?
On a regular handlebar that would be no problem. On a BDM big problem. I could of course fabricate, but looking for one that will bring the grips higher, not further back, and remain stock BDM.Have you thought about adding risers?
That's a great idea , i been wondering what im going to do about my new 2000 Bulldog the bars seem too low, but don't want to deter away from the original styling, also i would not have to change out all the control cables.Have you thought about adding risers?
Check these out, there are a bunch of different setups. That's a great idea , i been wondering what im going to do about my new 2000 Bulldog the bars seem too low, but don't want to deter away from the original styling, also i would not have to change out all the control cables.
These risers are they bike specific or something i need to get made up?
Thanks

2000 model has Harley controls? So you can fit what ever bars you want! May need longer cables and extend the wires, just like in every bike.Well since i bought the bike i have not been able to go for a long ride,,,,till today
Had a good ride today and the Bike Was Awesome, Handled great , managed to loose one carburetor cover screw
And the handlebars are defiantly too low and my arms are too close together im not sure if risers are going to be enough.
What Handle bar option for the 2000 BullDog can i choose from ? ?
Also the foot pegs and controls seem to be too close and narrow also, what are my options there ...
Cheers
Hope y'all had a good day.

OK I'll look into the risers for the bars for now they just may feel awkward now because there so low.2000 model has Harley controls? So you can fit what ever bars you want! May need longer cables and extend the wires, just like in every bike.
For foot controls and pegs I suppose you need to make extensions.
Awesome job hopefully i will not have to use the dremel, I did not see anything that will get it the way. We should be good there.View attachment 37587 I got a set of 1 1/2" LA Chopper risers on the Pit. I had to Dremel out a notch for each side but they did make a noticeable ride difference. Put them up and back just enough for me. They did not require any longer cables either.
Waz up wif dos foos pegsI went with drag bars on mine to give me the taller and more stretched feel. A lot more comfortable for long rides. View attachment 37584 View attachment 37585 View attachment 37586
Yeah take a photo let me see.I have a brand new set of drag bars, like Kelly has, hanging on my wall. If your interested, I'll take a picture of them.
