Well, I didn't mean I don't do 65-70 at times. when on I-4 i do around 80 so I don't get run over but having to put effort into going 65-70 is not right. any stock bike should handle well at 65 - 70 mph... Hell, it was hard to keep Tapico under 75 on the back roads...
I did 80 on I-4 also but the bike was in the trailer:oldlaugh:

And its a wonder Tapio didn't lose his slippers without laces in them:oldhardlaugh::oldhardlaugh:

Did learn to race Dog on my first Daytona trip. It was dark, liquor store was still open like 20 mins but about 50 mins away. JR, BBChopper, Raywood, Abaco21 and me racing down the dark highway as fast as the bikes went, me without lights tryin to stay as close to JR as possible to see at least something. That was one hell of the race we got the booze and managed to fix my lights too!

Did ya ever play Russian roulette but instead of 1 bullet, make it more interesting and put 5 bullets in. That story sounds like the big one that got away.:nopity::oldlaugh:

First time in Daytona, first Big Dog riders you ever met, you don't want to look pussy! That would be like showing up with a bloody Ski Doo!
If they jump off a bridge are you following:eek: I won't be there on Saturday for the meet at River Grill, so I'll hook up with the Skooby Dooby Doo boys and ride instead of bar hopping. I'll be at the Flagler house though, but I'll have to bring the Ski Doo cause that's to far up there to ride the Dog.
I just thought of it, since the Ski Doo has a tow hitch, I could trailer the Dog behind it, to blow the dust off it. :whoop::chopper::old2:

Hell no! I have survived this far with no trailer or Ski Doo! But speeding down the road, hell yeah!

:agree: If he's gonna hang on to it, it's worth it to him. However if he intends on selling it in a few years, a 15-20K hit is not a wise decision.:2cents:
Yeah.. I have been really tempted to go look at em, there are 7 new ones within a few hours of me, but if I go look I don't know if I'll be able to contain myself.. lol
