I recently had to replace the coil cover as one corner, where it bolted to the rear head, was cracked and broke off. In looking at the diagram in the manual, it indicates there is a fiberglass washer seated between the cover and where it bolts to the head. When I removed the cover, I noticed that both sides lacked this particular washer. There was the bolt, with a lock washer, that fit in the coil cover slot and then screwed into the head (metal to metal).
I cannot find a fiberglass washer locally, so would a nylon washer do? Also, if so, what thickness? Thank you in advance to any who responds.
