Who needs a new paint job?

IS there anything you can put in clear coat to make the colors change?? I do not want to paint the whole bike
but would like a color change effect. I'm not looking for a Kameleon look since I don't
want to loose my original paint.

Haven't tried it, but maybe try a little pearl in the clear? I've got a little orange, and a little blue pearl powder left, I think I'll give it a whirl on the off chance it might work.

You sure can add pearl to clear.

Yes, that is kameleon paint. You might be able to get a small quantity from Coastairbrush.com. It is very expensive if you have to buy a whole can of it.

Yes, you can put pearl in the clear. But I would suggest you put it in an intercoat clear, then clear coat. That way, you won't alter the color when you wet sand and buff. You won't be removing material with color in it.

Sure, but I have to finish some other projects before I take anything else in. Probably be after the first of the year.

I do not. I line the new production tanks with Kreem for Bigdog. But I'm not entirely a believer. And once lined, I don't know what you would use to remove it. Sorry.

Ed, what level paint is this?$$? I do like the Jester, its different.. so next year im gunna budget a new paint, so can we duplicate the image or should i just pick a new jester(cut you loose with the same paint scheme). the frame on the bike is black so its just colors ilike

I don't know what "level" it is. That is a construct BDM came up with. I don't really like duplicating other's artwork. You'd just have to figure out what your budget is, and what you're comfortable with spending.

My advice would be to always cut Ed loose, you will never regret it!
