You and me both.
I have 3-inch pulleys, belts, from KARATA and a motor plate from Baker Drive systems I can make it work it's just going to be some extensive machine work..., going to make it look old school anyway I'm cutting away most of the motor plate just enough to hold the starter and that whole area will be opened up

If I get my hands on a Karata motor plate I plan on using it for a template to make more, can copy it on buddy's cnc.

Couldn't ethically sell someone else's design, but I would share them with anyone on the forum for the cost of the material.:old2:
I never said for a profit but your time or machine time is worth a few bucks.

I had a buddy with a karata on his 05 rigid it was sick. he sold it bike is in Illinois now I think

Yeah when I bought my pulleys from him I tried talking him into making me one but he cried about how it would cost to just make one and his health was failing him and he just wasn't feeling up to it I asked him for the CNC program so I can have it done he still declined I just don't really think he gives a shit.

You're probably right. Baker sells a bolt on that's a perfect fit. This isn't a baker plug just a fact. I bought and installed one

I offered to drive to his shop and make it myself! He said he would get to it, just be patient... I did hear his health isn't the best and he is in his 80's..

Here's a transfer plate I made for my transmission plate

I don't care for the outboard bearing support or the two and a half inch Drive if it would have been a 3-inch drive without all the extra I would have loved it

This is a transfer plate I had made up for my transmission plate Baker Industries gave me the bolt pattern when they rebuild my transmission I told him I was going to make a slide mount and he was more than happy to send me the blueprint on the bolt down. The only thing I need to do is remove that wire that runs down through my transmission plate..., clamp it down transfer the slot down.

To me the baker looks cleaner and from what I've heard it's the best one for big dogs
I've never heard bad reviews on the Karata, other than shitty customer service..or non-exsistant customer service. You can still get all Karata parts, just not the motor plate.

Must be old stock. In my opinion shitty customer service equates to a bad review. Have a good day and post some pictures when ya get it mounted.
Yeah I sure will..., just trying to catch up on some other bills I got a bullet oil tank I had machined up it will go on my left front down tube on the frame I'll see if I can't find a picture and post it as well $1,400 for 2 of them one for my Chopper and one for my Ridgeback

Lol well isn't the plate a big deal? Much rather get something that doesn't have to be machined and made give Andrew Barnes a call he will tell you the disadvantages to the others and why baker is the best choice

I do agree with you guys, I would not have any support from Karata...I don't need it, BDB solves any problems..
