05 bdm chopper : parked 2 seasons

one day. went to start my bike, when the sequence and heard no clicks on the decompressions. so i just waited and tried then bang it started (heard the clicks this time)

drove the bike 30 clicks to visit a buddy and bike never started again.

I read the thread on the dreaded 6th pin i thought this could be my very issue but i swamped out with new board still nothing.

will the bike start without the rubber grommet on the right hand side for my is chewed up and i'm NOT buying the left / right combo just for a rubber grommet. I'm sure i can made something. (any ideas would be appreciated)

Battery fully charged.

i swaped starters still nothing. i even replaced the rear compression for the rear head gets hot as the air can't get to it like the front.

i checked all fuses. GOOD.

personally i think it's gonna be a ground.

can someone give my step by steps to check things. i'll print and try em.

i'm be without my dog 2 seasons now. i'm getting frusterated.

Any lights when u turn key on - headlight, neutral, oil, etc? My ground wire(black) would bind & pull back far enough out of connector when bolting right handlebar control back on to break the ground.

so. donna just replied.
