rip kit problem ?

i installed a rit kit in my 05 mastiff last year and now i am having problems with the right hand handlebar switches, when everything is together and on the bike nothing works at all but when it is all apart everything works fine, i have bought a new pcb and i still get the same problem, does anyone have any idea of what is causing the problem, i know there must be short some where but i do not know where to start ??.

Sound like problem maybe in the connector going to the pcb. Pull up a little wire and give yourself some slack. Could be the one under the tank.

Should have put in the RIP kit..... or oldskool wired it...

Many thanks but found the problem it was the screw next to the two pins for the stop light it was shorting the circuit board out removed the screw and no more problems

Why it's so close I have no idea and ideally it should have a plastic or fibre washer underneath it. It took a lot of finding though who would think it could possibly be that after all its factory !!
