Guys,
Just wondering how quickly your battery drains when starting.
Was riding the bike all morning then had on a tender in the afternoon. I noticed the tender was reading about 80% which I thought was strange after already ridden during the day.
When I tried to take it out again I only got it started once (at full choke) and then it died after closing the choke. I attempted to start it a few times, but it just wouldn't fire.
Honestly, it's been awhile since I've had a bike with a carburetor and I've never owned a BG so I have no basis for comparison on starting. Seems weird I'd have to start on full choke here in San Diego (it's 90 degrees out) especially after riding a few hours ago, but it definitely needed it (and died when I went to half choke).
Right now the battery is back on the tender. The battery is brand new.
