Blacktopper's new K9 330

One of the old ones.
Blacktopper was bitching about how dull his pocketknife had gotten, so of course that was reason enough to ride 90 miles east of home to Springfield, MO and visit the knife sharpener kiosk at Bass Pro. (Cost=$1---small knife).
On the way back, Roger asked if I'd like to ride his 2016 K9, and of course I'm only old, not dumb, so I said 'You bet'.
I had not ever been on it before. Roger's 330 K9 has the 'performance enhanced' 124 with a Jim's 6 speed. I could not believe the power and smoothness. My K9 is hopped up a bit, but this 124 is in another league altogether. (Think: "HOLY CRAP!!!) It flat out does NOT stop pulling--ever. It took 80 mph to get over 2000 rpm in 6th. This beast Is built to fly--guarantee it would run 90 mph allllll daaay long. And is incredibly smooth.
Already wondering what Matt might do on a trade-in.
ADVICE: Anyone with an addiction to these bikes--- Stay away from these 2016's altogether. This afternoon I found a new monkey on my back----

Well now I know not to "Ever" get on one of them! :nonod: I definitely have an "Addiction to Big Dogs" that I have to control daily! :yesnod: :chopper: Well at least it's not like I know anyone who has one, yet.....:oldsmile: :oldlaugh:

No doubt we'll make a Dallas weekend sometime in October...no firm date yet but we'll keep you posted. More beers and bbq at Stroker's is in order. Mos'Def headed to Galveston for the Lone Star---- first weekend in November if my memory is correct. That was one fun Rally last year.
You gonna ride down there with us this year, Eric? We'll leave Pittsburg Th morning, probably stay in Dallas and then on to Galveston Island Friday. Depart for KS Sunday a.m.

I've gotta hammer out my time off to try and squeeze that rally in I'd love to ride down with y'all. Welcome to stay at my place Thur evening regardless.

When I first read this I thought you are a traveling fool until I realized your in KS not PA.... Have fun. We will talk about ya in Daytona...

Haha! Justin I would love to add another Dog to the garage, but I don't think that the $35,000 price tag is in my budget at the moment, maybe like a 2020 model, wif sum creative financing! :oldsmile: :old2:

I agree, a 2016 K9 would look great beside my Ridgeback in the garage :cheers:, maybe in a few+ years. Gotta watch out for the "creative financing" :oldlaugh::oldthumbsup:
