What did you decide to do replace the module or complete rewire, I like that speedo my works perfectly fine if I could get the miles to match what's on mine now id buy it from you
I'm not 100% sure but you might be able to send it in to Dakota digital and have them match it. I know they will reset it, or set mileage when you buy from them. If you said you wanted to put it on YOUR other big dog implying you bought it from them maybe they do it? But if 5K miles is less...well you just pulled a Ker almost new bike.

I bought an entire new harness ...after shipping plus fault light almost $800 :(. I'll run the ESC in one bike and RIP in another and see which one wins. . Supporting both businesses

The nice part about the Dakota is the two trip meters. So you can keep track of your trip mileage and gas seperatly.

I'm also probably gonna end up selling this than once I start my bike again realize my speedometer fried along with my Wire plus

You can get it to Dakota to match mileage.. I had to do it when I purchased my gauge from jp after rewiring my bike. This is the gauge I have which is same deal.. and yeah this one has 4 trip settings which is awesome.. but I looked into one of these before I decide to get rid of factory wiring and it could be set to matching milage as well

I looked at it this way.. it cost me around 500 for wiring harness and all that and that gauge and I have never had the headaches everyone else has had due to my bike being EHC-less.. lol. (My own word).. so that's kinda how I stomached it.. of course I got new controls and bars but that was gunna be done n e ways just to have a unique dog.. so that's how I feel about it..

Looks good ! Also like how it has the time. I don't wear watches so sometimes I'm wondering what time it is haha.

I have two options I can either ride another 1000 miles on my oem speedo so it matches or have it reset:oldhardlaugh::oldhardlaugh::oldhardlaugh:
I'm telling u.. get a hold of Dakota and send it to em.. I bought mine from jp, installed to check everything and sent it to them to program.. then found out some motorcycle shops can program them as well as auto shops..

You remember what rise and pullback you went with on those? I'm just curious

No, I don't but it's a bit more of a stretch then stock.. u can kinda tell from my profile pic, I'm 6 ft and it's not crazy or n e thing buts about 2 inches further then stock.. no risers though.. just the bars..

Thought so that's why I asked.

I'm about the same height and I wouldn't want to stretch anymore. I'd like them back about 1-1.5" actually.

I actually took more comfort for long trips.. I take trips about 3 to 5 hours out often and I've done it on all 4 bikes and this one is the most comfortable... between the fury, Cbr, and v-star, even on a 2015 wide glide.. that one was actually the worse.. lol
