Mine is cracking bad on my K9. Last year I backed up the crack with a couple of big washers but the crack is still running. Somebody told me how nice the Headwinds buckets are but the price $439.95. Anything out there just as good at a better price that wont crack?

Don't know the pricing but look up Adjure lights
I have an Adjure on my Ridgeback because I hate the ring on the stock BDM one. Well their locking system blows even worse. It's a nylon rope that goes around and it's a bitch to snake through and after a few kinks its no good and $10 to replace. I'd rather fight the stock bucket ring then the adjure anyday. Removal is very simple - install on the other hand requires two people.

INCLUDED: All of our buckets come with our patented Phast Lock system, a 3/4" polished aluminum mounting block, a bulb wire harness, chrome bottom mount with a chrome pinch bolt and hardware. The ground wire is already connected to the mounting bolt so all you have to do is to plug the high and low blade connectors into your stock wiring and you are ready to roll.

I had one on my Deuce and don't remember it being unbearable. Next time I talk to my buddy down in Gulfport, Ms I'll ask him if he has had any trouble with it.

Huh, I put an Adjure on the Pit and love the easy way it disassembles. Squirt a bit of silicon on the "rope" and it slides nicely. Oh and I put in an LED from WSW. JMO.

Maybe I'm just a retard. I agree disassembly is quick and nice.

I did just buy a new nylon rope from them so maybe I'll have better luck I've gotta take it apart soon for my rewire.

Takes a bit of finesse to thread it back it for sure....push in on the lens as you slide the rope thru and its easier....But I had to replace my OG as the beauty ring suddenly became ugly....lol.

I think I stood behind the headlight and pulled in on the light with both hands and my wife slid the rope in the head light.

My biggest concern is if a new one will crack like the stock bucket. One reason I was looking at the Headwinds is because of it's Spun billet aluminum housing I'm thinking stronger. Any ideas on that?
